To be honest, I’ve learnt so many lessons from listening to the Faeries, both in my life and with my healing, coaching and mentoring business I didn’t know where to start. So, I decided to carry out a reading and ask them what 7 marketing lessons they had for us.
Enjoy!
1) The Singer of Intuition
I couldn’t agree more with the first card! My intuition has been fundamental not only with marketing but with my whole business. It’s kindly guided me on ideas, topics, branding, where to go to meet like-minded women and much more. I have a daily practice where I ask my intuition, (Faeries, Universe, Spirit etc.) “What shall I do to move myself forward in my business? Where would you like me to go? What would you like me to say? And with whom would you like me to speak?”. Then I sit, wait and listen. The answers always come……
2) The Signer of Connection
Connection is vital for any marketing! My word for 2017 is actually “Connect”. Connecting and building relationships with people is how we find the people we can best serve. The Faeries also want you to know it’s about a strong connection with ourselves, Spirit and the work we are on this earth to do too, as this is when we create our best marketing, When we are connected to others and something bigger than ourselves like the Universe, Spirit or The Divine.
3) The Faery Godmother
I was a bit at a loss with drawing The Faery Godmother card, until I sat with her and asked her for her message and it came flowing through. There’s always someone who is watching over you, believes in you, your gifts and talents. This is true! Whether it’s Spirit, past or present clients, a mentor, friends, family or our Faery Godmother! So let them shine through in your marketing! Read that testimonial before you sit down to write the copy for your next marketing campaign.
She also reminds us of helpful lessons learnt. As Entrepreneurs, we are constantly evolving and learning lessons and this is a positive thing! So if you’re marketing hasn’t resonated with your audience, what helpful lessons can you learn to apply to next time? As there’s always a next time! Get back up, dust yourself off and go again.
A question I like to ask myself daily which evokes the Faery Godmother for me is:
“What miracles can I expect today?”
4) Honesty
I think you’ll agree that honesty when it comes to marketing is so important but also, Honesty is reminding us of the need for straight talking and clear communication so there’s no room for confusion. Honesty and clarity, two key marketing lessons there!
5) The Journeyman
This Faery card is all about adventure, polishing of skills and progression. Every time you start marketing yourself or business, invoke a sense of adventure, as this brings excitement and a new-found enthusiasm which translates into what you are writing or recording. We are always moving from the known to the unknown as Entrepreneurs but as long as you have a willingness to learn and a sense of wonder, the journey will be enjoyable and hopefully long!
Questions I ask myself when The Journeyman shows up in a reading are:
“Where am I going?” and “What are my long-term goals?”
This helps me align my marketing with my dreams and desires.
6) Ilbe The Retriever
Ilbe is one of my favourite Faeries, he retrieves and safeguards our hopes and dreams. The marketing lesson he is offering to you is to be organised! Write down all your hopes, dreams, wishes and ideas and organise them in a journal or ring binder so you can keep adding to them and also refer back to them. Sometimes, we may have a dream or hope but it is not ripe or ready to be brought into reality yet. Perhaps we don’t have all the information or aren’t crystal clear on our intention, so put it in a safe place to review, I do mine monthly, and check back in with it again, it might just be the right time.
7) The Faery Who Was Kissed by The Pixies
This card is all about love given and love received, basically metaphorical open-heart surgery. The perfect last marketing lesson! Create everything from a place of love and pass the love on! Whether it’s a blog post, Facebook Live, newsletter or your offerings on your website. If it all comes from a place of love and gratitude, you’ll receive love, gratitude and maybe a kiss back!
With love and gratitude to you & the Faeries always,
