This weekend I was very blessed as a dear friend of mine who is the most amazing yoga teacher and healer gifted me her ½ day yoga retreat “Release, Reset Replenish” and oh my, did I release!
The last two months have been quite challenging for me on a personal level and when someone offered to hold the space for me, it was as if my whole body softened and I gave myself the permission I needed to let go.
The retreat was beautiful and as I moved from pose to pose, I felt the tears fall down my face and it’s a testament to my friend’s ability to hold space that I felt safe to do so. As being an introvert who definitely has hermit tendencies being vulnerable in front of women, I don’t know is not something I usually would do.
But I’m so glad I did, because afterwards I felt incredible. All the trapped emotion and worry just come tumbling out of me to create space for the new.
To be truly see and held by someone, is such a powerful experience and I would love to gift that same opportunity to you lovely.
