I’m not going to lie, this week has been challenging. I love being on my own until it comes to bedtime. Although it’s only a recent development, the last 5 years or so that I enjoy my own company, before that I hated being on my own and couldn’t be left on my own.
This week the hubby has been in Dundee, Scotland for work and it’s left me at home with Magnus our rescue cat and to be honest, I haven’t really slept all week and when I don’t sleep well, which is my superpower, I don’t make the best decisions.
I think the reason I’m sharing this with you is we aren’t all perfect and “happy” all the time and sometimes we need to lean on people we love for support no matter our age.
So if you’re having a challenging time, let someone who you know loves and cares for you support you.
It will not only help you to feel less alone, but the chances are the other person or people will be falling over themselves to help you because you’re so fabulous-queen.
I maybe 42 and been married for over 12 years but I still need my Mum and Dad and to be honest, they like to feel needed too.
So I think they low-key love it when I’m in a massive flap.
I have a topic on The Lucy Brand Show podcast which has already had an impact on listeners about bringing your own personal blend of spiritual to mundane tasks rather than practicing your spirituality occasionally.
It’s about weaving spirituality in with everyday tasks so that they become pleasurable, maybe even sacred.
I always share my story of how I used to hate hanging the washing out and always got my husband to do it.
Then in the pandemic when I felt powerless and not in control of my life, I’d hang the washing out and it was my moment of sacred peace, almost like moving meditation.
Now, I won’t let my husband hang the washing out as I enjoy it so much.
It’s actually a part of my self-care as it allows me to pause, breathe, check-in with myself and as we all know you create from the present moment. So I can focus my thoughts and align my energy to what I’d currently like to manifest.
Want to go deeper? I got you queen in this week’s sermon podcast: Episode 20 - Bringing Spirituality To The Mundane.
As always you know I love to share with you practical tools in “What To Explore & Try” and this week I have a Commitment Mantra for you.

💛 What To Explore & Try 💛
Think of one, maybe two, “mundane” tasks you have to do and that maybe you resent, no judgement here, because they take up time and that you’d like to flip the script on.
Then how could you infuse your personal and unique connection to spirituality into the task to have it become a spiritual practice or ritual?
Then start practicing it!
💜 Commitment Mantra 💜
I choose to use my powerful free will for my highest good and flip the script on the mundane task of <Insert The Mundane Task Here> by turning it into my spiritual practice by <Insert How You’re Going To Do It Here> and honouring my sacred-self in every moment.
👉 Now let me know in the 👇comments 👇 what landed for you or any ahas you had so I can support and celebrate you.
I know it’s hard to believe sometimes beautiful, but every moment is indeed sacred and it’s your choice – you free-will powerful creatress you – what YOU choose to focus your thoughts on and align your energy too.
If I was you queen, I wouldn’t rob myself of the present moment and the opportunity to create what I desire in my life because of focusing on a past event, especially one which didn’t create the outcome you wanted or deserved.
You’re a queen and you deserve the Universe.
And I’ll be here, always reminding you.
P.S The hubby comes home today and I’m so excited to enjoy a good night sleep.
Love you, mean it. 💖
I also host a powerful FREE Women’s Energy Healing event online each month which you can register for here.
